The most advanced ABS (Antilock Brake System) will be produced domestically in Iran and its contract will be signed between Renault Pars, a leading European supplier and an Iranian company.
Khodrocar journalist reports, in the next step the advanced generation of EPS braking system will be produced in Iran. ABS and EPS production line will be launched in an Iranian company and will be utilized within one year. This project has three steps: First step is the complete assembly until the end of 2018.
Technically, the ABS braking system is the most advanced part of a car and it will be produced domestically in Iran. After the engine and the gear box, ABS is the third important key part of a car and the Renault company will take the responsibility to produce it in Iran.
Currently, all Renault products including Tondar 90 sedan and pickup, Sandero and Sandero Stepway have the ABS braking system. According to this project, all Renault products in Iran will soon be equipped with EPS braking systems that are produced domestically.
