Khodrocar reports;
Mohamad Shariatmadari is announced to be the next Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade in Iran and some experts believe that he will not choose the same policy which used for the Ministry of Commerce.
According to Khodrocar journalist, yesterday, Hassan Rouhani, the President of Islamic Republic of Iran announced the names of his suggested Minister to the parliament and according to the list, Mohammadreza Nematzadeh is no longer the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade and Mohammad Shariatmadari will replace him.

Shariatmadari was the former Minister of Commerce and the Vice President for Executive Affairs in the eleventh government, and many believe that unlike Nematzadeh who had an industrial point of view, he has a commercial point of view and by choosing him as the minister, general policy of this ministry will be changed.

In the last four years many decisions made in order to support the manufacturing and the industry but little attention paid to the field of business and commerce.

Now the important question is: If Mohammad Shariatmadari is going to pay more attention to this commerce section as the Minister or not?

Hasan Karimi Sanjari told Khodrocar reporter regarding this question: According to Shariatmadari’s experience during the past years, he is known as a pragmatic person but it is suggested that he choose a Deputy for the Ministry.

He stated that increasing the volume of international partnership will accelerate the growth of the automotive industry.

He adds: There is no certainty that he will change all the decisions made by the last government, based on the fact that he was the Minister of Commerce.

Farbod Zaveh, an automotive industry expert told Khodrocar about the impact of Mohammad Shariatmadari as the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade: In my opinion the things will not change by his presence as the Minister but it seems that according to his experience as the former Minister of Commerce he will follow up the business and export issues more seriously in the twelfth government. He is a very good choice for this ministry but a macroeconomist would be more influential.
