Finally, after 9 months of hard work, details regarding the new instruction of vehicle import regulations has been revealed.
Khodrocar – According to the informations, a new instruction for auto imports which abolish the prohibition of auto imports with over 2500 cc engine displacements awaiting signing of Eshaq Jahangiri, Iran's Vice President.
According to the new instruction, official auto dealers are allowed to perform the registration of cars that worth less than 100 million dollars with maximum capacity of three thousand vehicles.
The importation of cars over 100 million dollars are allowed with the condition of domestic production or joint ventures up to 50% of the annual domestic production value.
According to the new instruction, cars with over 2500 cc engine displacements are allowed to be imported to the country.
Also the cars that were ordered previously, before the import ban, can be released with the signature of a contract with official dealers, considering the business profit.
