Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from Porsche, McLaren, and Alfa Romeo.

The average speed, in miles per hour – that’s 181.44 kilometers per hour – that Lars Kern maintained around the Nürburgring in a Porsche 911 GT2 RS. That resulted in a lap time of 6 minutes and 47.3 seconds, setting a new ‘Ring record – and beating the 918 Spyder by a healthy 10 seconds.
