The Tehran auto show will open in less than a month and the list of participants has been approved.
Khodrocar - Tehran auto show will be held on 27 November - 1 December 2017 in shahr e Aftab exhibition center. The special feature of this year's show is the participation of famous foreign companies separately from major local manufacturers
The second show will be a great place for Chinese automakers, to show their products because they will participate in separate halls. Right now, 3 halls belong to automakers, but just one of them has discipline.
The map of the exhibition revealed that seven automakers will have booth in one hall. Also, some companies separate from their Iranian partners, which is awkward. For example, Karmenia and BYD are participating in the hall that Subaru and Hyundai have a booth too.
Subaru will participate in the exhibition while the company’s volume of importation is not very good in Iran. This company has plan to unveil new cars in Tehran.
The first map showed that VW will have a booth next to Scania but the German company decided not to participate in the Tehran auto show. Now, Scania has the whole booth for itself to show products and fill the empty palce of VW.
A close look at the exhibition map show that just one hall has discipline which means automakers are participating next to their subsidiary companies.
Bahman group has a booth with FAW and Mazda together. Also Changan which is a subsidiary of SAIPA have a separate booth and will participate alongside a Tiwanies and a Korean company. The SAIPA will have a booth in the same hall.
Arian motor and Bahman group have managed to participate along their subsidiaries in this hall. SAIPA has a separate booth without its partners. The special thing about this hall is the participation of the Renault separately from IKCO.
The last hall is consisted of six automakers, which are getting separated from their Iranian partners. BAIC was participating with Diar Khodro in the pervious exhibition, but now they have an independent booth. Haima is another company which has an independent booth, but they were participating with IKCO in the past.
One of the odds of this hall is the participation of Volvo. This company will show its products at the Tehran auto show while it doesn’t have any agent or partner in Iran.
