Khodrocar – "Karman” was the first company which started its work as online taxi in Iran and later changed its name to "Snapp”. Nowadays this comoany is one of the most successful companies among other online taxies in Iran.
Prevalence of online taxies saved the people’s time and money and the good news is that these companies are starting their work in other cities of Iran.
"Snapp” Intelligent Transportation System
Snapp was the first company which started its work 3 years ago with a different name (Karman) at first, and then changed its name to Snapp. This company expanded its services and merge with "ZoodFood” which is an online food order company, because of its new rivals like "Tap30” and "Carpino”.
"Tap30” Intelligent Transportation System
"Tap30” is one of Snapp’s strongest rivals. Despite being newly established (a year ago), this company did much better than expected. Tap30 is now available in Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan, Mashhad, Shiraz and Tabriz.
"Carpino” Intelligent Transportation System
After the popularity of Snapp and Tap30, Iran’s Taxi Unit started to compete with these companies with the establishment of "Carpino” online taxi. The Municipality is the main supporter of Carpino.
Maxim is the first foreign online taxi in Iran. It is owned by a Russian company with the slogan of "Time To Go”. Maxim is available in more that 200 cities of Russia and the countries like Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
Mashhad, Birth Place of Online Taxies
Mashhad was the second city of Iran which welcomed these online taxies. Today, companies like Snapp, Tap30, Carpino, Touchsi and Cheetax are available in this city.
"AloPeyk” and "Miare”
Companies like AloPeyk and Miare are providing services for sending courier and packages in Iran and they are doing this well.
The boom of the Online taxi and the peak of competition between them, will result in improving the quality of their service, reduction in tariffs and also the increase of passangers’ safety.
Well, that’s something good to hear.
